Uncovering, Discovering, Recovering
Naturally Curious

@2ndCareerWriter
Writer’s Manifesto—At the beginning of my second career, I write all of the time — poetry, short stories, personal blog, Twitter, Facebook, and eventually a semi-autobiographical first novel. In my fifties, I’m looking beyond my profession in education and I’m using my writing as a platform for extending my personal learnings and philosophy. “Uncovering, Discovering, Recovering,” are all themes I investigate in my writing — finding sense in life’s lessons; trusting in a cosmic plan; reaching calm, peace, equanimity.

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go. Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain. The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a new life. What is it you would let go of today?
